Nancy S. Joseph, with over twenty five years of in-house marketing and PR agency experience started N. Joseph Marketing Communications in January 2004. Her firm specializes in marketing and marketing communications in the hi-end home-shelter category, both to the trade and to the consumer for some of the most well regarded names in high-design; Summit Furniture, David Sutherland Showroom, Santa Barbara Umbrella, Nomi Fabrics, Richard Schultz Design, Farrow & Ball, TOTO and many others (see Client List).

Prior to starting her own firm, she spent three years as a Director in the Brand Marketing practice at one of the world’s largest Public Relations firms, Burson-Marsteller, where she built the west coast home-lifestyle portfolio of clients. She oversaw key client relationships, developed results-oriented programs, and managed large teams of staffers on key accounts; Barilla America, BEHR Paints, Hot Spring Spas, Tiffany & Co., The Dial Corporation and more.

Prior to joining Burson-Marsteller, Ms. Joseph was the Director of Strategic Promotions for CBS/Infinity Broadcasting’s Promotions Group based in Los Angeles. She developed bottom line driven, push -pull programs for clients, including: Mattel, Gillette Personal Care Products, Delverde Pasta, and more.

Before CBS/Infinity, she was the Director of Marketing for Thermador, one of the leading luxury brands of cooking appliances. During this time, Ms. Joseph was responsible for repositioning the brand and creating an entirely new, integrated marketing communications platform to support the Company’s branding efforts. The platform included consumer and trade advertising, public relations, sales promotion collateral development, trade shows and on-line initiatives.

Ms. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree and an M.B.A in Marketing. She lives and offices in Palm Springs, CA as well as New York, every six weeks or so.
